Recycling Drop Off Points

Residents not on collection routes or those with a large accumulation of recyclables are encouraged to drop-off their materials at the following locations:

•Laconia Transfer Station - Hours of Operation: Mon.- Fri. 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and Sat. 8:00 am - noon.

Residents, who are disposing of only recyclables and yard waste, are admitted free. (Be prepared to show proof of residency). Otherwise admission to the transfer station requires the purchase of an annual dump sticker or a day pass. 

• Corrugated Cardboard Collection Point - Open 24 hours/7 days per week including holidays.

Laconia Residents and businesses are encouraged to dispose of their clean, flattened corrugated cardboard into the enclosure next to the compactor behind the City Garage. We cannot accept: pizza boxes (due to contamination), paperboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.), loose plastic (bubble wrap, air pillows).
