Overview
In December of 2012 the Laconia City Council adopted RSA 79-E, Community Revitalization Tax Relief Incentive. This incentive encourages the redevelopment of properties in the City, specifically the Downtown Tax Increment Finance District, the Lakeport Tax Increment Finance District, and the "to be defined" Weirs Beach Tax Increment Finance District. It provides significant tax relief on improvements made to existing buildings or selected properties in these areas.
