Recurring Library Programs
Check out all of our amazing lectures, presentations, workshops, crafts and children's programming that happens all year long at the library. Dates below subject to change depending on holidays and room availability. Please refer to our library calendar for confirmed dates.
Drop-In Tech Help
Mondays 6:45-7:45 pm and Wednesdays 2-3:30 pm. Stop by the library where we will have a staff member or a volunteer available to answer basic computer and device questions.
Every other Tuesday 4-6 pm. Need an escape? Join us for social needle crafting, classical music, and tea! Knitters, crocheters, cross-stitchers, all are welcome. Create a moment of Zen with your yarn, a hot cup of chamomile tea, and some Bach.
Book Discussion Series
The first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the fall and the spring. Features a theme across four book selections.
Mystery Book Club
The third Thursday of the month 4-5:30 pm at Wayfarer Coffee Roasters. Calling all amateur sleuths! Join Laconia Library’s informal monthly book group for readers who love who-dun-its…and coffee!
The third Monday of the month 10-11:30 am. Take some time out of your busy day to relax and enjoy colored pencils, gel pens, markers, or watercolor pastels.
The third Tuesday of the month at 2 pm or 6 pm. Learn a new skill, and create something new each month. Sign up required.
Coffee and Community Conversation Series
The fourth Thursday of the month 10 am to noon. Once a month, there will be a guest from the community for casual conversations and coffee.
Most Wednesday and Thursday mornings 10-11 am. Stories, songs, and a craft. For children birth through age 6 and a parent or caregiver.
Movies & More for Kids
Once a month on a Friday at 3:45 pm. Stop in for a fun children's movie and treats. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a caregiver 14 or older. All adults must bring a child.
Once a month in the children's room. No-bake cooking for families with children. Check calendar for dates and details.
